Job Description

Primary responsibility is to scrutinize available customer orders "scrub" and download/release those orders to the warehouse 24-48 hours prior to the requested ship date.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THIS POSITION?

  • Pull dock schedule from WMS Web Reports for today and the next two business days.
  • Systematically pull all orders for the next 5 days and create delivery documents for all non-optimized orders.
  • Pull report from the ATP Short Monitor to show projected cuts and communicate the results.
  • Scrub and Release orders that are not on the dock schedule but have a ship date of today or the next two business days.
  • Use the report pulled from the Short Monitor to look at days further out to work replenishment possibilities.
  • Manage International order for Code Date restrictions.
  • Manage Material determination updates and Slash code transitions.
  • Collaborate with Customization to align production schedule with Customer demand.
MAIN INTERACTIONS WITHIN & OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION (Key job roles both internally and externally with which the job-holder interacts. Include frequency (daily, weekly, monthly) and nature of interaction.)
Within the Organization – Internal Warehouse Team (daily/weekly), Regional Transportation Manager (daily/weekly), DC Managers (daily/weekly), Warehouse Logistics and Supply Chain Integration Teams (daily/weekly), Dock Schedulers (daily/weekly), Delivery Processors (daily/weekly), National Site Inventory Control Teams (daily/weekly), Quality Department (daily/weekly), Finance (weekly/monthly), Corporate Audit Team (annually), National Inventory Team (daily/weekly), Local and National Planning Team (daily/weekly). All key job roles are consulted and aligned at frequencies noted in order to execute the sites’ daily/weekly/monthly objectives and deliver against all site targets to internal and external customers.

Qualifications/Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

  • Warehouse/Distribution experience in order processing is preferred
  • Advanced education (Associates or Bachelor degree) is preferred
  • Strong MS Office skills required (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Access), prior SAP experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills including good verbal, written and listening skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously/self starter
  • Team player
  • Ability to consistently achieve desired results, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, act decisively and set personal high standards
  • Willingness to work non-Monday-Friday work week as needed
