AgReserves, Inc. is a multi-national, multi-corporate company that operates investment farms and ranches throughout the world. The Permanent Plantings Division, one of the company’s business units, includes (among other operations): Almonds and Pistachios in Wasco, CA; Walnuts and Prunes in Chico, CA.

The Processing Operator plays a key part in maintaining and running equipment at maximum efficiency. The focus of this position is production throughput, schedule adherence and quality standards. Processing Operators may be assigned to different areas depending on business need (electronics, inshell packing, sheller, meats packing, Huller/Dryers) etc.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of computers and machine programming.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to effectively type and utilize a variety of company software programs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
• A proactive and self-starter attitude; experience working well with others as well as ability to self-motivate and work alone.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate team members and a desire for excellence.
• Willingness and ability to work long hours, different shifts including nights, weekends and holidays when needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification.
• Must be able to pass forklift and aerial lift operator certification tests.

Preferred:

• Bilingual (English / Spanish).
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience working in a nut or other processing setting.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
