Position: Organic Chemistry Lab and General Chemistry Study Group Instructor Fall 2020
The Department of Natural Sciences at Paul Smith’s College of Arts and Sciences is seeking an individual with a passion for teaching at a school renowned for experiential education. The lab instructor is responsible for teaching one or more lab sections in Organic Chemistry during fall 2020. Labs are already designed by full time faculty. Instructor may be responsible for preparing equipment and grading lab reports and/or quizzes. Labs meet once a week for three hours. Students are mainly natural science undergraduates.
The General Chemistry Study Group instructor will guide students on homework problems and lab assignments. The study group meets twice a week for one hour at each meeting.
Work experience or graduate degree in the sciences.
