Full Description :
IMA is seeking a Part time (one 10-hour day per week) X-Ray Tech for our Philadelphia office. Duties would include taking all views requested by clients and the ability to use Computed Radiography Equipment; maintaining inventory and ordering supplies; submitting required reports and keeping required records.
Specific duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Adhere to State guidelines for clinic x-ray department requirements including storage of films for state-required period of time.
Ability to complete and maintain daily, weekly, monthly and annual record-keeping.
Submit daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports to management and Accounting as required by IMA procedures.
Maintain filing system of completed x-rays according to company requirements.
On a daily log sheet, log in claimants who require x-rays. Keep daily log sheet on file in 3-ring binder.
Take all views requested by State appearing on voucher, if possible, and develop films.
Perform daily QA (if clinic meets state minimum guidelines) and keep on file in facility.
Maintain records for all semi-annual and/or annual state required QA testing for facility.
Maintain all claimant evaluation (CE) requirements and keep a copy of all registrations and/or licenses in facility.
Order all needed supplies for x-ray production through proper company channels.
Submit annual reports, as required, to city, county or state agencies governing radiology.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in x-ray room and dark room.
Daily gather films in filing envelopes together with a copy of the log and ship to Radiologist to be read.
When needed, assist medical assistants with obtaining claimant?s height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration and vision test.
When needed, chaperone claimant evaluations.
If trained, assist medical assistants with EKGs, PFTs and other ancillary testing and procedures.

EDUCATION:
Required: High School diploma and completion of two-year radiological technologist accredited program, including passing Registry for Radiologic Technologist Preferred: Associate degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology CE: 24 continuing education units (CEUs) bi-annually or as required
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Completed externship and one year experience Preferred: One to two years prior experience in occupational health setting
