Specific to this position:
The primary function of this position is to support operations in the Facilities Vault. The individual will function as the vault clerk and will lead the vault management process. The vault is the facility drawing control point that receives, maintains, issues and recalls document/drawings for Engineering, Contractor and Trade supported work as it relates to facilities. Utilize SAP, Cypress, Excel spreadsheets to create, extract and view basic reports for processing documents and supporting Trades, Engineering and Quality requirements. Clerk will be expected to cross-train in multiple areas and be adaptable to changing work and location environments.

This position will report to the O41 Plant Engineering Technical Services Manager and perform a variety of administrative duties in support of the department. Administrative duties may also include performing travel arrangements; submitting expense reports for reimbursement; processing vendor badge and drive-in pass requests; supporting onboarding personnel. This position will work also ordering office supplies and processing customer requests for drawings, maps, etc. Position will also support the team in the timely processing of vendor invoices through Accounts Payable electronic invoice system.Performs variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project/business/technical unit. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data. Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures. Basic Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or experience Preferred Qualifications
Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift.
Complete data entry into QuickBooks accounting software. Match packing lists with invoices and process for payments. Complete end of month reporting.
May be required to possess a valid Virginia Motor Vehicle Operator License and have a satisfactory driving record based upon the City of Hampton criteria.
