Description:

In this job, the team member will provide accurate and efficient delivery of propane.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Accurately deliver propane and other related products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Accurately complete all invoices and related paper work in a timely manner
• Ensure deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedures. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Make decisions and follow instructions with little or no supervision
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

. Requirements:

Licensing, Certification and Qualification:

• Maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with hazmat and tanker endorsements. Maintain air brake endorsement with class B CDL.
• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines
• Obtain industry training and certification and retain such certification as required
• One year relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Working Environment:

Will be subject to outdoor temperature fluctuations, bouncing or jolting. Ability to work extended hours.

Physical Demands:

Able to lift and carry 20 to 75 pounds; climb ladders and steps; reach above, below and at shoulder level; work on or with moving machinery; have full use of arms, hands, legs; have good finger dexterity; subject to twisting motions
