The Opportunity:: North America's world class Business Development team is looking for a Meteorology Technician to join the team. This position requires an experienced, multi-skilled, Meteorology (MET) Technician for installation of meteorological (MET) towers and equipment as well as field support of our development projects. What You'll Do at ::
  • Installation, operations, maintenance, and technical support for MET systems with minimum supervision
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MET tower systems, communications
  • Maintain and be responsible for company vehicles, tools, and equipment to maintain safe and efficient operation
  • Assist in the administration of field operations in areas such as development of operating procedures, environmental reporting, sub-contractor oversight, field support, and inventory
  • Perform/direct housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe work environment and professional appearance
  • Work within and ensure strict adherence to all safety and environmental procedures
Who You Are::
  • Minimum one year of realated experience
  • Experience pulling trailers
  • Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather
  • Must be able to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Position will require up to 95% travel

What You've Accomplished::
  • Valid driver’s licenses with clean driving record
  • Ability to work weekends on occasion
  • Ability to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • General computer skills including Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and mapping/GPS software
  • Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred (applicant will have 30 days to obtain CDL license)
