Service Valet:
Summary: Plans, organizes, leads, and controls the flow of service work through the service departments in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer.
Essential Duties: Maintains timely and professional contact with service customers. Maintains and organized and up-to-date list of pickup customers. Prepared estimated when required. Communicates job status with the next shift supervisor. Schedules maintenance for service department vehicles and equipment. Advises parts manager and service manager of repetitive shortage so that corrective action can be taken. Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings. Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc. Assists with safety, housekeeping and OSHA Right-to-Know policies and procedures throughout the service department.
Marginal Duties: Maintains a clean work area. Maintains a professional appearance Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Driver’s License
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
