Job Title: Lot Porter Department: Body Shop
Reports To: Store Leader Classification: Non-exemptHourly Supervisory Role: No Status: Full-time
Effective Date: May 1, 2020
Job Summary: The Lot Porter is responsible for moving and cleaning vehicles. The Lot Porter will perform various tasks and errands for the shop and does so efficiently to meet production timeliness expectations while meeting Collision Works? standard of quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining and organizing vehicles
Cleaning up around the shop, throwing away parts
Taking out the garbage, general shop and building cleanup, and light maintenance
Working in various weather climates/conditions outside
Other responsibilities may include moving vehicles for snow removal
Other duties assigned by the Store Leader
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to receive direction and work well with others
Some experience in automotive field preferred but not required
Reliable work history
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to pass a background check
