WSP is currently initiating a search for CEI Senior Inspectors with relevant industry certification and exprience to join our Florida Construction Services Group based in Miami, Florida. Duties and Responsibilities: -Monitoring on-site construction activities -Inspecting materials in accordance with client’s scope of services (plans, specifications, and special provisions) -Maintaining detailed accurate records of daily operations and significant events -Preparing inspection reports -Monitoring and inspecting the Work Zone Traffic Control (in accordance with the client’s requirements) -Transporting samples to be tested in a Department laboratory or appropriate facility -Fulfilling other duties as needed Talent is the essence of meeting our client’s objectives, goals and challenges. High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 7 years of relevant construction inspection experience
Valid Drivers License
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening
Certifications (must have or achieve within 3 months):
CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)
IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level I
CTQP Final Estimates Level I
FDOT Intermediate MOT
CTQP Asphalt Level 2
CTQP Earthwork Level 2 MDX requirements.
