About Upshift

Upshift is an on-demand staffing platform that offers Upshifters (those who work through the Upshift app) the opportunity to pick up shifts at local businesses at the touch of a button. It also allows businesses to choose amongst a large pool of Upshifters to find the best people available to fill their shifts. It’s an incredibly user-friendly application that is revolutionizing the gig economy for many businesses and people looking for on-demand work opportunities.

Upshift is expanding nationally and we’re looking for a Part-Time Community Representative in Miami.

Responsibilities

• Complete processing & onboarding of new hires including skills documentation, profile completion, orientation, and document completion

Qualifications

• Professional background in staffing/volume recruiting preferred
• Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
• Previous work experience in the customer service related field
• Comfortable working on projects independently
• Strong interpersonal, communication skills, and able to manage stress
• Willing to work on tasks beyond the job description to help team members when needed
• A desire to innovate and improve upon existing processes
• Proficiency in Spanish preferred

Schedule (All shifts are required)

• A morning shift starting from around 10 am and ending in the early to mid-afternoon during the week
• A shift beginning in the early afternoon and ending in the early evening during the week
• Saturdays starting around 10 am and ending in the early to mid-afternoon

Salary: Hourly- start at $16/hr,$17/hr after 160 hours, $18/hr after 320 hours

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends

We require everyone attending onboardings to wear a mask and have dividers set up in the office to ensure physical separation.
