Reports to: VP Digital Marketing & Ecommerce

Position Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and visionary Senior Creative Director to build and lead a team of Digital Designers, Content Creators and Social Media Specialists as part of our new Creative Studio.

In this critical and influential role, you’ll bring your passion for the power of brand and experiential design to shape and change the way consumers interact with our brands. You’ll have led the concepting, development and execution of highly engaging social media and brand activation programs across a range of digital platforms and formats. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, accessible leader who can manage, nurture and inspire a creative team with clear vision and direction and holds the team to high standards of creative expression.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and build a digital Creative group serving our New Category brands. Serve as a coach, leader and advocate for the team, supporting the expansion of our talent and portfolio in the creative space
  • Bring big thinking to the table, including ground-breaking concepts that shape the brands across Web, Mobile, Display Media, Ecommerce, Digital Retail and Social Media executions
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Creative team
  • Concept integrated programs with multiple touchpoints, supporting creative excellence from concept through execution
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and agencies to provide creative direction to a variety of experiences – including but not limited to Social Media, Ecommerce, Web and Digital Experiential Marketing
  • Develop and cascade the creative standards and practice of team involved in project work
  • Focus on editorial storytelling and consumer engagement.
  • Drive departmental talent development and succession planning, ensuring that group is organized, staffed and trained to continually develop their skills and competencies
  • Ensure shared learning and adoption of creative best practices across team for improved effectiveness and efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Design or a related field
  • 10+ years Ecommerce/Digital Design experience
  • 5+ years leading/managing a team of creative professionals
  • Thorough understanding of the creative process, project management principles and managing internal client relationships
  • Strong portfolio of creative campaigns and work
  • Excellent understanding of Social Media and experience working across all digital platforms
  • Experience with digital storytelling
  • Ability to sketch out design ideas by hand or computer
  • Passion for innovation and pushing/challenging the thinking of our team
  • Ability to articulate a strategy to both senior leadership as well as cross-functional teams
  • Outstanding ability to manage and balance multiple strategic priorities and projects
  • Bonus if you have led in-house creative in house for a digitally- native consumer product brand
  • Bonus if you have experience with Augmented and Virtual reality
