This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Bachelor's degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Information Technology experience with primary focus on middle ware and UI testing ( reading logs and understand etc).
4+ years of experience with development or test automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, SOAP-UI, HP ALM/QTP, JIRA, etc.).
Knowledge of Agile Application Development concepts
Knowledge/Experience with Cassandra Data Store.
Experience of RESTful Web Services, SQL, JSON, HTML, Maven, IntelliJ IDE, GIT/Subversion etc.
Experience in one programming or scripting languages like Java, Python, Shell.
Experience in test automation using Selenium Java, CI/CD experience using Jules.
Experience creating test strategies, test case development, defect resolution and planning and coordinating test activities.
Demonstrated self-starter with good judgment and resourcefulness.
Ability to think outside the box, adapt to circumstances, learn from co-workers, and share information and experiences.
Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills, skills in dealing with a diverse population. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to any given situation.
Ability to make timely and sound decisions.
Ability to work independently and in a team based environment.
Detailed understanding of application architecture in order to identify quality issues related to design or distribution of application components.
Expert in automation and how to use it effectively and efficiently.
Ability to negotiate, communicate and deliver effective automated test solutions to both development and QA organizations.
Has deep knowledge of multiple complex applications and provides subject matter expertise to set direction and create test strategies and test plans for one or more releases of an application.
