Responsible for preparing and submitting customer cost estimates while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Maintain customer correspondence through written and verbal communication Perform all quoting and costing analysis accurately and timely to meet customer expectations Create Cost Estimates and prepare Engineering change cost submissions ( production and prototype ) Create cost vs. sales analysis to ensure profitability of project Prepare Engineering Change cost submissions Prepare financial cost documentation, Program P&L, and Capital packages and review with leaders for approval Report out /discuss program financial status updates to leadership and corporate teams monthly Prepare all required customer forms related to piece price and tooling Submit pricing and negotiate with customer, with assistance of sales team Maintain program historical financial information Create and maintain program budgets in excel and SAP Maintain all sales pricing updates in SAP, including quarterly indexing Shared responsibility for engineering team KPI SQCTM Metrics ( Safety, Quality, Cost, Timing, Morale) Key Qualifications/Requirements
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED
Post-secondary business education required, or related experience
Experience with business applications (budget, business plans, quotations) preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Computer skills; Highly Skilled in Microsoft Excel required; Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Operate standard office equipment required
SAP experience preferred Additional Information
