Description Metals Coordinator
1st Shift Department: Metals
Reports to: Metals Value Stream Manager

Prepared Date: 11/30/2020 SUMMARY:
The Metals Coordinator will allocate all items required for Paint requirements by order and load prior to the order/load being painted. This includes all items needed from manufacturing and purchased goods, if required. The Coordinator will then release the load to paint once deemed complete and in full. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrated strong logical and analytical thinker.
Proficiently use Tracker and Syteline.
Demonstrates inventory accuracy.
Demonstrates the ability to accurately read route / BOM.
Demonstrates blueprint reading skills.
Verifies all items are complete and properly placed prior to moving to the Paint line.
Verifies and arranges load carts in order, reflecting the shipping commitment listing.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
Strong communication skills – communication with Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers.
Able to order purchased parts and internal items from support departments and, if needed, retrieve the requirements and move the inventory within Syteline.

High school diploma or GED, preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general shipping documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees. Strong written and oral communications. REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Syteline, and Outlook. ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT:
