Full Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Bookkeeper to become an integral part of our team! Primary functions include setting up and managing all functions of the Accounting process at Fairview Investment Administration, QuickBooks experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process transactions for multiple clients on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
  • Provide information to the external accountant, as needed.
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Highly detailed and able to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Good knowledge of corporate business accounting and corporate business management.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.

Bookkeeper Qualifications/Skills:

  • Associate's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
  • Accounting principles.
  • Organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Attention to Details.
  • Data Entry Skills.
  • Confidentiality.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of the QuickBooks accounting software package and EXCEL.

Work Location: Currently working remotely but will plan to work from our office in Rocky Mount when possible.
