TEMPORARY DATA ENTRY CLERK (SIX-MONTH POSITION)

NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS/PUBLIC CHARITIES DIVISION

HEALTH CARE & FAIR COMPETITION BUREAU

The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Non-Profit Organizations/Public Charities Division. The Division is responsible for protecting and promoting the public’s interests in the Commonwealth’s public charities that range in size and complexity from our largest universities and health care systems, to small local human service organizations.

Primary Duties: A Temporary Data Entry Clerk works in the Non-Profit Organizations/Public Charities Division (NPCD) and is responsible for reviewing financial and other reports from charities. The Temporary Data Entry Clerk is responsible for the following activities:

  • Review submissions from charities to ensure compliance with statutory filing and reporting requirements;
  • Enter financial and other information from charities filings into AGO database (Damion); and
  • Other duties as required.

Position Type: This is a full-time contract position for six months.

Compensation: $18 per hour. This is a non-benefited position with paid sick time.

Qualifications

Position Requirements: Applicants will possess strong organizational and recordkeeping skills and have attention to detail. Applicants must also understand the importance of working as part of a team, be approachable, and have the ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively. Experience with data entry and/or using case management databases is a plus.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office, PowerPoint) is essential. Some college education is preferred, but a degree is not required. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a connection to the people and communities we serve and an interest in supporting a respectful and inclusive work environment.
