Enterprise Community Partners is seeking a Program Officer to join our National Initiatives team. This unique role will work across two of the organization’s seven national initiatives: the Economic Mobility Initiative and SPARCC (Strong, Prosperous, And Resilient Communities Challenge). The ideal candidate will be a creative practitioner with cross-disciplinary and anti-racist expertise in housing, community development, climate resilience, and mobility from poverty.

Our National Initiatives provide tools, technical assistance and best practices that foster excellence in community development by addressing critical concerns and populations, including rural and tribal members, health and housing, climate and cultural resiliency, and increasing economic stability and mobility of low-income families.
The position is located in Washington, DC, and will report to a Senior Director on the National Initiatives team.
Support the Senior Directors of the Economic Mobility Initiative and SPARCC on initiative design and execution, partnership development, project management, and team building.
Support local economic mobility and SPARCC sites with technical assistance/capacity-building around cross-sector collaboration, community-driven processes, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, strategy design and implementation, capital deployment, and policy development and advocacy.
Prepare content for and facilitate meetings, capture key takeaways, and work with diverse stakeholder teams to ensure follow-up.
Monitor progress and achievements of programmatic work across teams, troubleshoot emerging issues, and provide additional support or capacity as needed.
Provide writing/story-telling support for the initiatives.
Minimum of three years of experience in relevant community development, organizing, or advocacy work. Graduate degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience.
Experience in the affordable housing and community development sector and/or understanding of how housing contributes to a broader ecosystem of opportunity.
Authentic commitment to and capacity to advance anti-racist practice and equitable outcomes.
Well-developed interpersonal communication and group facilitation skills.
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated project management experience, managing complex efforts and diverse teams located across multiple offices.
Experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data/information and distilling key findings/conclusions.
Strong communications skills with the ability to clearly express ideas, thoughts, and concepts verbally, in writing and visually.
Available for travel.
