The Assistant – IR Survey Research assists in leading and directing the supervision of the Telephone Survey Research Center (up to 30 part-time agents). Assists with various administrative duties requiring supervisory decision making, including processing payroll and time entry of student workers and production incentives. Advises student workers regarding the quality, accuracy, and productivity of the Telephone Survey Research Center services and ensures that policies and procedures are followed. Produces data files for analysis. Assists in coordinating survey research by prioritizing and scheduling projects. Involved in the creation of survey instruments including survey programming, development, and administration (online or telephone).
The Survey Research Center shifts are Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm; also Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Evenings and Saturdays required for Telephone Survey Research Center supervision. Will require up to 28 hours per week.Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree plus one year of experience related to the summary of duties or any combination of education and experience related to the summary of duties totaling three years.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to see, hear, and speak. Consistent use of fine-hand manipulation associated with the use of a computer. Ability to sit for long periods of time. May occasionally need to lift 10-25 pounds. Some standing and walking is required.EEO Statement
