The purpose of this position is to assist and support in the administration of field data collection phases of the various current or special census surveys while troubleshooting any field operational problems.

This is a Temporary Appointment, initial appointment is not to exceed 06/01/2021. This appointment may be extended up to an additional year at management's discretion.

The work schedule for this position is Mixed Tour. With a Mixed Tour work schedule, an employee may be changed between full-time, part-time and intermittent work schedules to accommodate fluctuating workloads and is subject to a signed agreement.
For the GG-05, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-04 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:
Experience for this position includes maintaining survey materials, control files, computing ratios, and preparing computerized reports; experience using Google search or similar search engines, Mapquest or applications similar to YellowPages.com, Fast Data and Yahoo; experience using databases such as Access or Excel, conducting searches on specific data elements; experience reviewing case outcomes and determining if adequate information is provided or if additional follow up is needed; experience working and dealing with multiple customer demands in a professional environment.
Four years above the high school level.
