Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Structural Analysis Section Manager for Manned C2ISR programs under the Military Aircraft Systems Division to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
The successful candidate will manage the functional engineering activities of ten to twenty Structural Analysis Engineers within the Manned C2ISR portfolio. The Section Manager is responsible for product integrity, process adherence, staffing, training and tools. Specific responsibilities include technical and process oversight, participation in the performance review process, management of personnel records and participation in corrective or disciplinary actions. Staffing responsibilities may include hiring, reduction in force actions, recruiting of personnel and working to ensure that analysts with the appropriate skills and experience are deployed. The ability to manage training opportunities and budget allocations, as well as participation in tool, process, and metric initiatives is required. The Section Manager will also perform IPT Structural Analysis leadership tasks, which will comprise the majority of the candidates work statement. Team engagement is a key focus. The ability to mentor, provide career guidance and coaching, and lead others is required.

Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 10 years' experience in aircraft structural analysis.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Master's degree in Engineering (ME/AE/CE) with minimum of 8 years' experience in aircraft structural analysis.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Experience working on an ASIP managed platform.
Experience with crack growth softwareAFGROW.
Familiarity with FEMAP/NX Nastran.
Experience with MRB related activities.
