HR Generalist Overview

As the HR Generalist, you are the face of and the business lines we support, to our employees. This responsibility is a great one and is expected to have a hand in the success and growth of all companies. We are looking for an energetic individual who is friendly, personable and loves a challenge. Responsibilities

(include, but are not limited to)

  • Administers various HR plans and procedures for all company personnel
  • Coding bills for payment (benefit, background check, drug testing)
  • Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, sending enrollment information to eligible employees, COBRA
  • Conducts new-employee orientations
  • Prepares payroll data using an automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll
  • Assist in investigating problems, such as working conditions, disciplinary actions, discrimination, and harassment
  • Maintain all employee files, including all new hire and termination information
  • Assist with Workers Compensation claims filed by employees including filing claims and maintaining the OSHA Logs for all locations
  • Travel arrangements and bookings for management staff and travel teams
  • Assist executive, office, and location staff for any needs that may arise
  • Recruiting projects as needed
  • Administrative tasks and other projects as needed

Requirements

  • Human Resources certification or 3-5years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Problem-solving and creative thinking skills
  • Multi-task and provide thorough follow-up
  • Analyze and create statistical reports
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and ADP Software
