This entry-level customer service professional works directly with CBORD/Horizon customers who are implementing systems in the FMS product portfolio. On the front line, this team member provides training and implementation services, on-site and remotely. Services include CBORD/Horizon systems training, implementation guidance, and occasional technical support. Senior staff members provide mentoring as the associate comes up the learning curve.

What You’ll be Doing

Implementation Services

  • Provide group or individual training that is delivered at the customer site, in CBORD’s Ithaca offices, or remotely using third party connectivity tools
  • Complete necessary preparation and post service tasks including
  • Contact the customer and confirming expectations, creating an agenda, making travel arrangements
  • Follow-up for the training session including the writing of a status report, expense and billing reports, tracking issues, contacting the customer to confirm progress in implementation and issue resolution
  • Use CBORD’s implementation best practices which include standard training materials to support training and implementation support provided to customers
  • Maintain customer contact documentation and customer issues in CBORD’s customer management system
  • All activities and tasks are with mentoring by a senior team member or manager

People Management

  • Participate in a team effort to service the customer by working with the Database Services, Managed Services, Support, Development, Integration, and Quality Assurance teams
  • Achieve individual revenue plan and billable utilization goal
  • Develop and grow CBORD systems knowledge and supporting third party tools as they pertain to use with CBORD systems (networks, operating systems including Windows, SQL, Excel)
  • Maintain personal business metrics by receiving customer transaction surveys for services provided, maintaining a three-month forecast, weekly workload metrics tracking customer and non-customer related activities and a schedule in Outlook that is published to SharePoint.
  • Submit all customer documentation (status reports, PIP’s, and any other pertinent materials) to SharePoint in a timely basis

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree, a focus subject matter area a plus
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD eligible if working with clinical systems strongly preferred
  • 2 years of work experience preferred
  • Delivering group training, consulting, or implementing systems, strongly preferred
  • Applicable work experience related to system(s), strongly preferred
  • Personal credit card required with enough credit to accommodate ten days of travel expense
  • Good writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Good people skills and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management, decision-making, and organization skills
  • Good ability to multi-task and change tasks and focus, as needed
  • Advanced beginner skills proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience using SharePoint in daily work a plus
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Portrays a positive-solution oriented attitude in the workplace
  • Self-directed with ability to follow process, meet deadlines and quality expectations.
