PPI Aerospace is a large Nadcap accredited chemical process and surface engineering facility focused on serving the specific needs of suppliers to the Aerospace and Defense industries.

We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize and perform their work using typical office equipment like computers, fax machines, scanners and Outlook. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and screens incoming telephone calls and communicates with customers, vendors and departmental personnel via telephone, email, and Outlook
  • Greet customers and guests with a professional and friendly disposition
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external client

Skills

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must have impeccable office manners and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the job

Part Time to Full Time Schedule available, Monday - Friday, 28 to 40 hours.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
