RiverCom 911 in Wenatchee, WA is seeking qualified applicants for the position of TELECOMMUNICATOR. The Telecommunicator is responsible for processing emergency 911 and non-emergency calls-for-service and dispatching law, fire and emergency medical public safety agencies for Chelan and Douglas counties. Applicants should possess good typing skills, excellent communication and decision-making skills, ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people, and ability to utilize new and evolving technologies. Position requires dedication, professionalism, integrity, a high-level of confidentiality, and commitment to serving our community. Salary Range $3,832.91 - $4,509.30 DOE along with shift premium and longevity pay, plus an excellent benefit package that includes health care coverage, paid annual leave, paid sick leave, retirement plan, and other benefits. Must be free from illegal drug use for at least 3 years prior to application. Employment is conditional on successfully passing background investigation, polygraph test, credit check, psychological test, drug screen, and medical exam.
