Responsibilities

The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire an Administrative Analyst to join their Center for Community Health. Primary duties include:

• Manage complex calendaring, organize meetings and prepare materials for distribution
• Draft and prepare responses to urgent requests
• Prepare confidential reports
• Research, compile, and summarize issues, policies, topics, background information, talking points and briefing materials for presentations
• Develop and implement efficient and effective systems for managing information, projects and communications
• Maintain a comprehensive database of initiatives and assignments

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience providing administrative support
• Skill in maintaining calendars and schedules with complex logistics
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to independently and expertly compose business correspondence, agendas, minutes, reports and meeting minutes
• Computer proficiency with MS Office
• Flexibility in working non-traditional hours during key events and periods of high demand
• Experience handling information with a high degree of confidentiality
• Skill in establishing and maintaining a complex filing system
• Knowledge of the terminology of dermatology and immunology preferred
• Bachelors’ degree preferred
