Full Description :

The Customer Service Assistant is the lead support for the customer service team and is responsible for maintaining work in a steady paced environment while assisting to customer service representatives and project managers. The work completed by the customer service assistant is very team oriented and essentially entails communicating effectively between team members. This position handles responses to order inquiries and answering any questions called upon to the customer service department.


  • Generate work orders for production.
  • Maintain job trackers through spreadsheets for specific clients as well as production timelines.
  • Check all proofs (for current artwork), layouts and color folders for production orders.
  • Enter the PO information into OMS/AS400. Print Plant and Office copy of production orders.
  • Support the Project manager and CSR with proofing sales orders, new specs, quotes requests, die samples and other related requirements.
  • Retrieve new artwork from customers to send to prepress to make and send to customers for approval.
  • Review tasks at hand and share information for processing customer’s requirements with project manager and customer service representative.
  • Communicate closely with customers concerning ship dates, pricing information, assuring artwork is up to date and explaining the service abilities at Rohrer Corporation.
  • Inventory releases- Monitor VMI items, end-of-month items and specific ship dates.
