Human Resources & Compliance Program Assistant Our Human Resources & Compliance Program Assistant will be an organized, self-starting professional. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the administrative processes of HR and our Compliance Program.
Recruitment & New Hires-
Participate in new hire recruiting by posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications.
Scheduling job interviews and assisting in the interview process
Administer new employee orientation
Prepare new employee files and collect new employment and tax information
Work with insurance broker and negotiate the best insurance plans for Northern and its employees.
Maintain enrollment and termination of employees with offered benefits.
Participate in benefit tasks such as claim resolutions, billing, and employee questions.
Educate employees of changes or additions to their benefits per policy.
Record Maintenance & Training-
Maintain current HR files and databases.
Perform file audits to ensure all required employee documentation is collected and maintained.
Oversee that all employees maintain up to date certifications for State of Wisconsin and equipment.
Keep records of all employee certifications & send employees to continuing education credits as required.
Administrative/ Office Duties-
Assist in answering incoming phone calls and direct to proper department.
Maintain accounts payable files and assist in sending out payments.
Assist in any other administrative duties as required.
Compliance Program Duties
Interact with customers regarding their annual testing and compliance.
Take service calls for compliance testing and educate customers of Northern’s compliance agreements.
Provide site specific information for testing using information from prior year’s test results and State of Wisconsin tank database.
Receive, review and post test results from technicians into our database system.
Send out test results to customers via e-mail, fax and mail.
Make site specific compliance binders for customers signed up for the compliance agreements.
Send educational materials including postcards, flyers and brochures to customers.
