SCHEDULE: Full-time
North Florida Regional Healthcare is an organization centered around the community hospitals in Gainesville, FloridaNorth Florida Regional Medical Center (NFRMC). NFRMC is a 432-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center serving North Central Florida and offering comprehensive cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, neurosciences, minimally-invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery, weight loss surgery and treatment, women’s health and wound therapy, among other services.
Invision Imaging- North Florida Outpatient Imaging
Invision Offers safe, convenient outpatient diagnostic services. The center has obtained full accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR). All Invision physicians are Board Certified and maintain staff privileges at North Florida Regional Medical Center, Doctors Radiology Group of Gainesville and Invision Imaging.

Monday-Friday 12PM-8:30PM
Job Specific Duties:
  • Consistently maintains patient files, making new files as needed.
  • Consistently maintains by name and position a master telephone record for department staff.
  • Consistently prepares various reports involving, monthly reports, weekly reports, general journal entry, expenses reports, linen reports, cafeteria reports.
  • Consistently completes and submits special purchase order requests for items as needed, including general supplies, special orders, educational materials, and equipment as needed.
  • Accurately processes daily patient charts.
  • Consistently maintains record keeping, and office organization for the center.
  • Consistently maintains department files for personnel, purchase orders, daily correspondence, in service documentation and distribution follow up , and other projects assigned.
  • Consistently ensures that office equipment operate properly, follow up with equipment repair order.
  • Consistently performs regular clerical duties such as filing, copying, typing, answer phone calls, getting and distributing mail, send fax information, reports, etc.
  • Consistently answers the telephone and directs inquiries in a clear, concise, and pleasant manner using a moderate tone of voice.
  • Consistently screens all calls as appropriate for the center director and management staff as well as radiologists. Handles trouble shooting calls as appropriate.
  • Consistently greets people entering the office with a smile an making direct eye contact.
  • Consistently performs duties as assigned.
  • Reports to the director at the beginning and end of the shift.
  • Preparing patient film jackets and distribute to each modality.
  • Entering patient in the computer, looking up patient medical records numbers and any previous exams.
  • Assist in checking out patients after exam.
  • Assist technologist when needed in changing and getting patient ready for exam.
  • Preparing all paperwork for the patient charts including printing and putting together all forms.
  • Confirming all patients for the next day schedule.
  • Writing up paperwork and getting ready for the next day.
  • Typing patient label for the new charts
  • Processing doctor orders with patient charts.
  • Scheduling of patients wen needed.
  • Performs other related functions as assigned.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:
Education:
  • High school graduate or GED

Experience:
  • 2 years of related experience is required.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated communications and customer service skills, success in organizing work, computer skills, and ability to multi-task.
