Floor Tech Job Description:
Our goal is to provide a superior level of cleaning quality in an assigned area to maintain a clean working environment.
Reports to the Environmental Services Director for work scheduling .
In assigned areas, performs daily cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures in accordance with training videos.
Records work completed on Area Assignment Checklist .
Responds to Housekeeping pages .
Performs floor stripping and extraction projects .
Performs other tasks as assigned by department Director .

Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart, linen cart, or various equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift.
Capable of pushing and pulling furniture and equipment (25 – 100 lb.) frequently.
Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, Virex, etc.).
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and even other hours as needed per assigned area.
