A Director of Community Services position is now available with Liberty Behavioral Health Corporation and the Indiana Sex Offender Management and Monitoring Program (INSOMM Program).

The INSOMM Program is an innovative program that invites collaboration between public and private sector groups across the state of Indiana with the goal of reducing sexual violence and sex offenses.

The INSOMM Program provides special treatment programming to adult and juvenile sex offenders committed to the Indiana Department of Correction. Additionally, the INSOMM Program utilizes a Containment Model to provide maximum protection to the public while sex offenders are under parole supervision in the community.

As Liberty’s Director of Community Services, you will enjoy an array of leadership responsibilities – including:

  • Providing direct supervision to a statewide team of District Coordinators (who monitor and manage sexual abusers in the community)
  • Managing GPS monitoring services for sexual abusers in the community
  • Overseeing a statewide network of contract polygraph examiners and sexual abuse treatment clinicians
  • Maintaining an offender tracking database
  • Helping to organize and lead various training programs and initiatives
  • Client-facing with an array of public officials and stakeholders
  • Managing a small caseload

This key leadership role will help enhance community safety in Indiana, through the reduction of sex offender recidivism and victimization.

To qualify for this position and be considered, you should possess these minimum requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a social services discipline such as Social Work or Psychology
  • Knowledge of effective practices in treating, monitoring and managing sexual abusers in the community
  • Successful management / leadership track record
