Full Description :

The Engineering Science Division of ARA is seeking a Principal Program Manager 1 to join our progressive and passionate team. The qualified applicant should have an advanced degree in science or engineering and 12+ years’ experience directing complex RDT&E programs. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance and a DHS Suitability Clearance.

The Principal Program Manager shall serve as the single point of contact for all operational and administrative aspects of the DHS S&T Explosives and Equipment Characterization (ExEC) Program. Specifically, the Principal Program Manager shall be responsible for:

  • Ensuring a qualified and competent scientific and technical staff is in place to support DHS for each task identified for this program.
  • Ensuring all Tyndall Reactive Materials Group (TRMG) activities are coordinated with, and in support of, the DHS program office.
  • Monitoring all program expenditures to ensure the TRMG stays within budget projections.
  • Regularly consulting with the DHS program office to keep them abreast of all issues.
  • Ensuring all contract deliverables are prepared, reviewed, and submitted to DHS on time, reflecting an accurate description of every facet of the ExEC program.
Experience Required
  • 12 year(s): Directing complex RDT&E programs
Education Required
  • Bachelors or better in Science or related field
