Cameron County Children and Youth Services provides services to ensure the safety and well-being of children. If you have a desire to help children and families, we would love to have you as part of our team. Work Hours: 8:30 am4:00 pm (M-F) with a 1 hour lunch. **Caseworkers are required to participate in a 24 hour on call rotation. Travel is required.**
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Caseworkers provide a range of case management services to children and families including the investigation of reports of child abuse and neglect. Caseworkers also provide case management services to children and families in the home and to children and families in which a child is placed out of the home.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
In order to be eligible for this position, you must:
Have successfully examined and have a current score on file. If you have not already done so, you must first apply to the COUNTY CASEWORKER 1 – CHILDREN AND YOUTH (ONLINE EXAM) posting and follow the directions provided.
PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title
Be able to perform essential job functions
