GRILL COOK. Who we are:
We are anything but typical. We are awesome. We are an independent, family-owned restaurant that serves traditional Mexican food in an authentic, rustic feel and casual relaxed atmosphere. Our food is made from scratch by hand every day. Our concept combines elements of a scratch kitchen, entertainment, a fun ambiance with quality products, and excellent service. We have built a great clientele base and reputation over the 15 years we have been in business.

Prepares properly portioned, visually appealing, and great tasting homemade authentic dishes ensuring that all items are completed in a timely manner and delivered hot and fresh to the servers.
Job Description:
Follows recipes to prepare and cook meats, rice, beans, and vegetables according to proper preparation methods per the current Luisa’s recipe book. Must maintain high standards of quality and appearance for all food prepared and served. Prioritize food preparation so that all items for check are finished at the same time.
  • Responsible for practicing and upholding health and sanitation standards.
  • Maintains high standards of personal grooming.
  • Washes hands frequently. Wears gloves to prevent bare hand contact.
  • Properly maintain and operate equipment effectively and safely.
  • Must practice proper food handling, recipe execution, food preparation, production, and ensuring cleanliness is crucial.

Requirements/General Responsibilities: Has strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task. Must maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period, have strong menu knowledge, and the ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate tickets.
