Objective:

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring a positive and efficient resident experience. Concierge balances being the first point of contact for any resident needs, while collaborating as a team with all other in-house departments to achieve a high-functioning community that residents can call home.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project a positive and professional attitude toward residents, vendors and guests
  • Manage the flow of the lobby and Mail Center
  • Have a basic understanding of resident demographic (active duty service members in the US Navy)
  • Participate in and successfully complete our annual compliance training programs
  • Project a consistent image that complements our community through appearance, performance, and service, while ensuring community policies and regulations are enforced
  • Assist with move in/move out flow (activating keys, scheduling Notice to Vacate appointments)
  • Follow up on resident questions and situations to ensure a quick resolution
  • Effectively communicate with Residents by maintaining our Resident portal including answering inquiries and posting updates as needed
  • Work with law enforcement to ensure the safety of the community
  • Perform property walks for quality assurance
  • Host and assist with a wide range of events
  • Effectively communicate with other team members through verbal, email, and IM
  • Able to handle a high volume of resident activity
  • Use software systems to track packages, resident information and security related functions
  • Work directly with all team members from multiple departments to ensure resident satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills – both verbal and written
  • Demonstrates strong computer abilities: Microsoft Office programs, Internet and email
  • Will be a creative problem solver with initiative to deliver superior customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to prioritize and manage your daily workload to ensure successful completion in a timely manner
  • Must be self-motivated and a positive team member
  • Professional, friendly telephone and greeting skills
  • Familiarity with Onesite preferred
  • Ability to take direction and follow through to achieve measurable results
  • Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required
  • Must pass a background screening (Drug screening required)

Education and/or Experience:

Education: High School diploma, some college preferred

Experience: Minimum 1-year experience as concierge or related customer service in property management, or hospitality related field

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs unassisted.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
We provide all of our employees with the appropriate PPE required to do their jobs safely. We conduct temperature screenings. We have installed signage, sanitizer, and plastic barriers. Currently, the Concierge team is working 12 hour shifts 3 days/week.
