The AT specialist works with Application Scientists supporting product development of new crop protection products. Hands-on lab work is expected. Responsibilities

Understanding customer/market needs to influence formulation design & development to ensure new products meet or exceed customer’s expectation
Working closely with the formulation scientists, ensure full evaluation and characterization of new formulations for application in regional markets
Develop test protocols for the evaluation of new formulation performance in spray equipment focusing on product integrity during mixing/loading and dispensing. Protocols may also be used to evaluate product integrity during adverse storage conditions and product stability after extended storage.
Provide expertise in the investigation of application or product handling problems
Provide input in the development and validation of clean-out procedures for application equipment and sprayers

Associate's degree in Chemistry, Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural Sciences
Broad scientific knowledge on the agricultural application technologies used in crop protection
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion. Demonstrated significant involvement in designing studies, carrying out experiments, interpreting data, etc. to meet project milestones
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to successfully partner with team members and stakeholders from multiple backgrounds.
Ability to work in a matrix organization
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to summarize the results in a report, delivers presentations and proactively communicates results and progress to technical teams, supervision, and stakeholders.
A solid track record of documentation
Experience and familiarity with design and development of formulated products
