We are looking for a talented Content Curator, focused on music and culture, to help us find & surface amazing video content on our platforms, as well as identify up and coming trends using music. The role may interface with vendors and requires someone who is extremely detail oriented, efficient, and a creative problem solver. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of all social media formats; a demonstrated understanding of social platforms; and an interest in subjects including pop culture, music and celebrities, as well as memes and other popular forms of online culture. We’re looking for people with a proven ability to identify trendsas they’re happening or ahead of the curve. A background in social media, community management or content creation is a plus. Candidates should have the proven ability to work quickly under pressure, to make smart editorial decisions, and to work collaboratively with external partners and global colleagues.
Review and curate music video content and playlists
Define and execute processes to support music curation operations
Identify online trends and personalities, including emerging memes and cultural conversations
Capture and highlight the best content from wide range of topics, including pop culture, celebrities, comedy, and music
Identify storytelling, narrative, characters, and the qualities that make entertainment interesting
Build strong relationships with internal partners across cross functional teams including Music BD, Partnerships, Policy and Legal
Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders and drive process
2+ years' experience in the music industry or focusing on music for digital video content production, editorial/publishing, or creator/influencer talent
BA/BS degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent content and social media experience
Experience in social media with a focus on music
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and driving teams towards execution of a north star vision
Demonstrated experience implementing programs to improve operational performance
Self-starter with confidence in initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
