|Company||A.M. SUN SOLAR|
A.M. Sun Solar is looking to hire ENTRY-LEVEL AND SKILLED SOLAR INSTALLERS.
Ideal candidates are motivated team players with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and master all aspects of installing PV solar systems.
Solar panel installers may also be known as solar photovoltaic installers or PV installers. They are specifically trained to work with solar panels and the systems involved in converting solar power into electricity.
Solar panel installers perform a lot of their work on roofs or other appropriate structures, so they need to be comfortable with heights. Attention to detail is important so that solar panel installers ensure the systems they install work properly and so they can maintain a safe working environment. Paying attention to detail is also important while being able to follow all safety precautions to prevent injuries. Solar panel installers also need to be able to lift heavy equipment.
Primary Responsibilities To Perform Project Installations Include:
Assemble, install, or maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics. May include measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules.
Solar (PV) Installers should also possess the following specific qualities:
Customer-service skills – Residential solar installers must work in customers’ homes. As a result, installers must maintain professionalism and perform the work in a timely manner.
Detail-orientated – Solar Installers must carefully follow instructions during installation. If they fail to do so, the system may not work properly.
Mechanical skills – Solar Installers work with complex electrical and mechanical equipment. They must be able to build support structures that hold PV panels in place, and properly connect the panels to the electrical system.
Physical stamina – Solar Installers are often on their feet carrying panels and other heavy equipment. When installing rooftop panels, workers may need to climb ladders many times during the course of the day.
Physical strength – Solar Installers must often lift heavy equipment, parts, and tools. Installers should be strong enough to lift panels that weigh up to 50lbs.
