Partner Business Manager

helps organizations run and transform its business through four core areas of digital transformation: Enterprise DevOps, Hybrid IT Management, Predictive Analytics and Security, Risk, and Governance. Our software provides the critical tools they need to build, operate, secure, and analyze their enterprise. By design, these tools bridge the gap between existing and emerging technologies — enabling faster innovation, with less risk, in the race to digital transformation.

About the Role

The Partner Business Manager is responsible for managing a $25$30M book of business in the Channel Support segment.

The Partner Business Manager will

  • close assigned support renewal sales,
  • protect renewal sales revenue streams
  • maintaining partner relationships.
  • Work strategically with partners and distributors within a defined account assignment or territory.

Education and Experience

  • Four year university/ Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Typically at least 2 years’ of selling or account management experienced; preferable in IT industry.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • General knowledge of Channel business, preferred in enterprise software industry with general understanding of related technologies
  • Proven track record in sales, with specific knowledge of Maintenance Renewal sales
  • Demonstrated ability to move leads through entire sales process independently.
  • Accurate and timely forecasting to management
  • Leadership skills and strategic planning
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder with proven negotiation skills
