Full Description :

Gundie’s Auto Recyclers has a full-time opening for a Front Desk Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and proactively assist them or direct them to proper staff who can assist them.
  • Complete accounts payable/receivable and various accounting tasks.
  • Assign and track work orders with parts department ensuring quick processing.
  • Track and monitor work orders, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Monitor attendance of drivers, parts staff, and sales staff to ensure coverage.
  • Maintain accurate filing system, both electronic and paper.
  • Maintain front desk supplies and equipment.
  • Liaison between sales, parts staff, and drivers.
  • Manages work assignments for parts staff and drivers.
  • Answer incoming calls and interface with and assist vendors, customers, and employees.
  • Take cash, credit card, and check payments and process refunds or account credits.
  • Complete additional support requests from the store manager, office manager, and general manager.

Desired skills/qualifications:

  • Cashier experience in auto parts store strongly preferred.
  • Experience as a service writer is a plus.
  • Experience working in the auto industry, specifically automotive parts, strongly desired.
  • Inventory, shipping and receiving, and high-volume customer-facing experience strongly desired.
  • Proficient in English (oral and written).
  • Bi-lingual desired, but not required.

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of cash, credit card, and check handling procedures.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Must be proficient with computers and MS Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must have excellent communication, and interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Must be efficient, have superior organizational skills, have attention to detail, ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, and contribute to a proactive work environment.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds over your head and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must have reliable transportation (we are not on a bus route).
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be available to work full-time Monday through Friday.

Benefits:

  • Medical and dental available 60 days after hire.
  • 6 Paid Holidays
  • After 1 year of employment, 5-day vacation.
  • After 5 years of employment, 10-day vacation.
  • Wage approximately $13-15 an hour, DOE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
